The Story behind HN Marketing

HN Marketing was built on a simple idea: marketing should create real results, not just traffic and leads.

What started as a personal journey to build location-independent work evolved into a system that helps businesses generate customers through advertising, automation, and smart marketing systems.

My Core Expertise

Paid Advertising

I help businesses attract potential customers through targeted advertising campaigns. By using platforms like Google Ads, businesses can reach people who are actively searching for their services.

Website & Landing Pages

A website should do more than look good. I build landing pages designed to guide visitors toward taking action, whether that means requesting a quote, booking a call, or making a purchase.

Search Engine Optimization

SEO helps businesses become visible in search results over time. By improving website structure, content, and technical performance, businesses can attract consistent organic traffic.

Automation

Automation connects marketing and operations. It ensures that leads are followed up quickly, information is organized, and repetitive tasks are handled automatically.

Where It Started

It didn't appear overnight. It is the result of years of learning, experimentation and real-world lessons from working with businesses.

Discovering Digital Marketing

HN Marketing began with a simple realization: freedom requires ownership over how you work.

In 2019, during an off-abroad study in Indonesia, I experienced a completely different pace of life. The beauty of the country and the lifestyle made me think about what I wanted for my own future. The idea of working the same 9-to-5 routine for decades didn’t feel right.

That moment planted a question in my mind: How can I create value and build something that allows me to work from anywhere?

That question became the starting point of my journey into business and digital marketing.

Learning the Craft

When I returned home, I immersed myself in learning about business and entrepreneurship.

For over two years I read books, studied different business models, and explored how companies create value for customers. But theory alone wasn’t enough.

After graduating, I started working as an online marketer at a company where I began developing practical skills in:
  • Search engine optimization (SEO)
  • Google Ads
  • WordPress & Elementor
  • Automation with HubSpot
Working in this environment gave me a real understanding of how marketing systems operate behind the scenes. At the same time, outside of work, I experimented with creative tools such as Adobe After Effects and other design software. I was constantly exploring ways to expand my skill set.

The First Real Experiment

In 2024 an opportunity came along. My brother and a partner had an idea for a service-based business, and I joined the project as a side venture after work.

We launched the business and used Google Ads to acquire customers. The campaigns generated traffic and clients, but the service itself was a one-time transaction. Revenue fluctuated, and the business consistently broke even. Some months were profitable, others resulted in losses.

Eventually everyone involved moved on to other things, and the project came to an end.

While it didn’t succeed financially, it provided something far more valuable: real experience running campaigns and generating leads for an actual business.

The Lesson That Changed Everything

After that experience, I started offering Google Ads services to other businesses.

At first I gained a few clients, but many eventually cancelled the service. During offboarding conversations, I always asked the same question: Why did you decide to stop?

The answer revealed an important pattern. Clients said they were receiving leads, but they weren’t converting into customers. When I asked how quickly they followed up with those leads, the answer was often several days later.

By that time, the potential customer had already moved on.

From the client’s perspective, the marketing didn’t work — even if the campaigns generated interest. That experience led to a powerful realization: Businesses don’t want leads. They want customers.

And if customers aren’t coming in, the responsibility still falls on the marketer.

Building a Better System

This insight pushed me to rethink how marketing services should work.

Advertising alone is only part of the process. What happens after the lead comes in is just as important.

So I started working on a better system. Because of my previous experience with HubSpot workflows, I already understood the potential of automation. That’s when I began exploring automation platforms and building my own systems.

I mapped out every step involved in running a business:
  • Lead generation
  • Lead follow-up
  • Client communication
  • Administration
  • Invoicing
  • Internal workflows
Then I asked a simple question: What can be automated?

Step by step, I built workflows that handle these processes automatically.

Systems that follow up with leads quickly, organize information, and reduce manual work.

The Idea Behind HN Marketing

HN Marketing was created around a simple principle: Marketing should not only generate leads, it should help businesses turn those leads into customers.

Today the focus of HN Marketing is not just running advertising campaigns. It’s about building complete marketing systems, combining, Paid advertising, Landing pages and visual content, Lead follow-up automation, Workflow optimization for businesses. These are the same systems I use within my own business, and they are the foundation of the services I provide to others.

How I Approach Marketing

The Principles Behind HN Marketing

.01 Results Over Vanity Metrics

Many campaigns focus on clicks and impressions, but these numbers don’t always lead to real growth.

HN Marketing focuses on what truly matters: leads, conversations, and customers.

.02 Systems Over Guesswork

Effective marketing is not one campaign, but a system. Advertising, websites, and follow-ups must work together to turn interest into customers.

.03 Long-Term Thinking

Sustainable growth takes time. By continuously testing, optimizing, and improving, marketing systems become stronger and more effective over time.

The System Behind HN Marketing

Instead of focusing on individual marketing tactics, I focus on building systems.

A strong marketing system connects advertising, websites, and automation so that businesses can consistently attract and convert customers.

This approach allows businesses to spend less time on manual tasks and more time on delivering value to their clients.
